On Friday, September 29, we will hear a presentation from Al Jacobsen the CEO of Instigo.com a company that provides Web-based custom corporate seminars & presentations. Instigo uses streaming audio software, synchronized slides, graphs and charts to present live trainign seminars over the Web, supplemented by real-time surveys and messaging. Instigo offers an interesting component of an e-education solution much as face-to-face learning expeditions and the unique RealChange/FutureU learning expeditions can be used as an unusually effective part of larger leadership and managment development program. For those with a sense of adventure and a willingness to experiment with browser plug-ins, follow the link below to an Instigo demonstration and sample. This will take a little time, but it is worth a try and can also be fun.

 Another form of e-learning is Web-Based Training or WBT. This is usually made up of a set of text-based lessons or learning activities that the learner can complete at a time and place convenient to them. WBT can also be used as the core content for a course that uses interaction between learners and instructor and among learners.
