Some institutions choose not to train faculty members to convert their own courses for Web delivery. You may employ FutureU to carry out that process while you concentrate instead on developing faculty capacity for the online teaching process. In this case, FutureU will work individually (primarily by telephone, email, and discussion forum) with faculty members to convert their files (e.g., syllabi, course calendars, course home pages, lectures, assignments, course materials, quizzes, and gradebooks) to Web-readable format and place them on the Web in whatever platform you choose. To control cost, we recommend that every faculty member study FutureU's Faculty Web Book (either self-paced or as the text of a facilitated module) prior to the conversion process, so that course materials will be appropriately designed and organized for Web delivery.
