FutureU e-Course Calendar
Winter 2004 - By Course
TBD = To be determined
When you have completed all three of these courses, you will definitely be among the most knowledgeble instructors in how to best use technology to enrich any course, face to face, online, or blended. Each offers specific content that deepens and enhances your skills as an online course builder and faciliator.
The three courses are scheduled so you can take them together, without conflicts or an overwhelming workload. Each course requires about an hour a day, five days a week. You may take the "Help Your Students" course (101) followed by the "Bargain Hunter's" course (201). During the same period, you may also take the "Plan and Create" course (301), bringing your total work load to under 2 hours a day (or less than 10 hours a week for the first four weeks and less than 5 hours a week for the final two weeks of 301).
If you can't take all three courses, then we recommend the following: If time or cost are factors in making your choice, take the "Help Your Students" (101) and "Bargain Hunters" (201) courses which will require 4 weeks and cost $148.00. If you'd like a more thorough introduction to the details of planning and creating an online course, then take "Plan and Create" (301) which will require 6 weeks and cost $190.00.
