The world is changing. The population is growing older and more diverse. The economy is going global. Organizations are merging, retooling, collaborating as never before. Technology is reinventing the way we communicate, work, and learn. Change itself is becoming the one constant in our lives.

In a world of continuous change, the most valuable skill is the ability to learn. Research has shown that there is a lot more to learning than what schools have traditionally taught and that those who continue to learn have a distinct advantage.

Tomorrow's leaders will need to see both the big picture and the day-to-day detail and employ leadership practices grounded in an awareness of long-term effects. They will also need to create nurturing environments that encourage learning and maximize return on investment of both economic and intellectual capital. This program focuses on best practices in leadership and two critical leadership skills: how to learn and how to guide others in their learning.

Program Modules

Program Design

This twelve-week FutureU program is made up of six two-week modules, each of which surveys one specific topic related to transformational leadership. Participants deepen their understanding of content through discussion and practical application in the workplace. Each module requires an average of 10 hours a week of online participation and study time.

Delivery Options

Off-the-shelf or customized to meet your organization's needs. Usually delivered entirely online, via FutureU 's Internet-accessible electronic campus or on your own Intranet. Participants "attend class" from their own desktop or laptop computers, at home or at work, and at whatever time is most convenient to them. Such asynchronous online delivery is especially suited to geographically separated employee groups and those who find it a challenge to fit learning into an already full work schedule. Can also be adapted for on-site delivery.

Customization

Every organization faces a unique set of challenges and opportunities. The FutureU team can customize this program or any of our programs or modules to address participants' current concerns and integrate case study material based on your organization's experience.
