Pre- and Post-Event Surveys

Proactively improve the outcome of any training program, annual meeting, or retreat by polling participants beforehand about their expectations and preferences. Offer the same instrument afterwards to measure changes in knowledge, behavior, or attitude.

  • First survey: Estimated three hours of consultation to create specifications and adapt your existing paper-based questionnaire (if any), followed by data collection and analysis, simple statistical report, process management. Up to 25 participants.

    Cost: $3,500 (Estimate)
  • Each subsequent survey using the same instrument (Delivery, process management, and statistical report).

    Cost: $750 each
  • Training of your staff to take over surveying. Estimate 30 hours.

    Cost: $4,800. Plus any travel and expenses.

Telephone Interviews  Return to List

Deepen survey responses while cultivating relationships and buy in.

Cost: $200 an hour (Typically 2-4 interviews each hour)


Focus Groups Return to List

Typically 10-20 respondents, 6-10 questions, 60-120 minute sessions. Statistical and qualitative analysis. Written summary of simple analysis. One-hour face-to-face presentation of findings. Priced by degree of customization, number of respondents, detail of report, length of session.

Cost: $3,000 to $10,000, plus travel time and expenses.


Custom Evaluations Return to List

Easy, appealing, fully customized evaluations for any purpose, delivered online, by email, or fax, using FutureU software and staff to develop, deliver, and analyze. Written summary of simple analysis. Cross tabs available for an additional fee. One hour face-to-face presentation of findings upon request.

  • Option 1. Outsource to FutureU. Evaluations one-by-one as needed. FutureU coaches your staff to create meaningful and effective evaluation questions. From those questions we build a Web-based assessment tool, collect the data, and assist your staff in its analysis. Priced by number of questions, number of respondents and complexity of evaluation. Typically the cost goes down for each subsequent evaluation, based on learning from previous surveys and possible reuse of certain components.

    Cost Range: 3 to 5 figures. Plus any travel and expenses.

  • Option 2. In-house. FutureU assists in identification and comparison of up to three evaluation software packages, provides help with installation and testing, and trains one or two of your own staff to use the software.

    Cost: Identification, installation, testing-$3,000. Staff Training-$3,200. Plus any travel and expenses.

  • Option 3: Staff Training. After a start-up phase overseen by FutureU to work out the kinks, we can prepare your staff to take over the surveying process. Estimate 30 hours.

    Cost: $4,800



Spot Consultation Return to List

To support your ongoing planning and evaluation. As needed, in increments as short as 15 minutes by telephone. One-hour minimum for face to face.

Rate: $3.50 per minute or $200.00/hr. Or, retainer: $1,000/mo. for up to 6 hours, then $3.50 a minute or $200 an hour for additional time, plus travel time and expenses.
