75 e-Learning Activities: Making Online Learning Interactive. Ryan Watkins Copyright © 2005 by John Wiley. ISBN: 0787975850
Accelerated Learning Resource Kit Tim Maples. Copyright © 1996. Published by HRD Press.
CAUTION: This "kit" is made up of a 25 page book and a video. I think 200 bucks is a bit much to be asking for such a package. However, the book is useful. Look for a used copy of just the book at your local bookseller (Amazon isn't showing any.), but I don't recommend buying the "kit."

This is a great book. But you can save some money buying the first edition and they are not that different. There is a little more about the role of a moderator in synchronous technologies (web conferencing and chat), a new chapter about the future for e-moderating, and updated stories, experiences and reflections of practicing e-moderators. You can read a description of the differences between the two editions at the companion website at www.e-moderating.com.

They must be doing some things right to attract increasing numbers of adult learners. Check out this book if you want to learn what some of those "right things" might be.

Most of us won't be jumping into creating web pages outside of our school's standard course management system, at least not in the beginning. But once it becomes clear that you need the freedom of design and presentation afforded by building your own web sites, this is the book to study so that you're pages are easy to use and clearly present the information you're trying to impart. This guide takes a very practical, forget about all the fancy graphics, approach to building web pages that actually work.
